Just for a moment try to imagine a world without hatred. Imagine a world where love is truly unconditional and justice reigns; Not by appearance shall he judge, nor by hearsay shall he decide, but he shall judge the poor with justice, and decide aright for the land’s afflicted. A place of peace, although, you will hear of wars and rumors of wars see that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:6 (NKJV) A place where pain does not exist. I know it sounds like a fantasy and the girl with the rose colored glasses appears a bit delusional. I can assure you, it is not a fantasy but a promise” And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4 (NKJV)
Imagine just for a moment, a place where there is no racial divide or evil intent where “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28
There are those that would strongly argue against such far-reaching ideas but I challenge those to try to imagine. Once you are able to imagine this, try trusting Jesus and the promises of God’s word. Wait, before you close your mind; let me ask you, “what do you have to lose?” We live in a world where there seems to be very little to be hopeful about; a world that has become cynical and disparaging. Social media has presented us with all types of challenges (ice bucket challenge, post a pic challenge, set yourself on fire challenge) and many take the plunge. Why not take one more challenge; one that could be life-changing? There is nothing to lose but everything to gain. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26 (NKJV),
Be encouraged my friends, even as you try to imagine; you have not even come close to the reality, “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”As the Elders said in time past, “This world is not our home, we are just passing through”. This is just a rest stop on our way to, “The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” BE ENCOURAGED!
Prayer: Father we thank you for your peace, the peace you spoke into existence as you declared, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
