And God said Let there be light…

And God said Let there be light…

Even the darkest of dark hours there remains in us a spirit of light.  It is important to remember that Jesus said I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”  This is his promise to all who believe. Even though we” go through” the darkness we shall not remain there.   Will there be moments in your life when all seems dark?  When trouble surround you like the cover of darkness at midnight there is still deep inside a spark that refuses to die.  Never forget that from that spark wells a brilliant light that is the eternal flame of the love of Jesus.     Darkness has its place and serves it purpose.   But let us be reminded, that in a moment of great darkness, our glorious light was revealed and manifest.  Now it was[l] about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 Then the sun was darkened] and the veil of the temple was torn in two. 46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’” Having said this, He breathed His last.47 So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man!”  It was in that darkness from the sixth to the ninth hour that our salvation was secured.  I was that very darkness that locked in our greatest gift.  All was not lost in darkness but revealed in light.  It has been revealed that this is the SON of the living God and now, the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (Revelation 22:17)  NOW  God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).  Therefore we remain and shall ever be a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.(1 Peter 2:9) To God be the glory!

Prayer: Father reveal your marvelous light in me that I shall never feel the separation of darkness. Let your word ever abide in me and allow me to abide in you.
